CINABRO - HIGH PERFORMANCE DATA APPLIANCE
"Cinabro" is our first product offering as an intelligent computational data appliance. It is packed with lowest latency and long reliability/retention non-volatile memory, server grade CPUs, standard NICs, and FPGA accelerators. You can use it for huge capacity in-memory database applications, real-time analytics, ledger storage, database accelerator, CNN based machine learning, etc. Our containerized storage OS "CBOS" provides you a capability to easily embed your own applications in the appliance and make them run as micro services without having network and VM overheads. Its open source based design has incredible advantages of wide and deep community support. Fully programmable FPGA boards can give you additional power to handle your data with hardware acceleration. Currently it is validated with limited number of partners and GA will be expected to be in late 2020.
GRIFFINDB - FASTEST KEY VALUE STORE OPTIMIZED FOR SSD
You will have more than hundreds of alternatives for your database project, downloadable from GitHub or provided as a service by cloud suppliers. The problem is that there are too many options, and the operational cost is another critical issue which is easily underestimated for many new projects and hurting sustainable growth of your business later. Our own key value store "GriffinDB" provides an outstanding random read performance and low read/write amplification. It is proven to be x2 faster and x20 less amplified compared to LevelDB/RocksDB in Enterprise Ethereum platforms. For helping users who don't want to pay eye-popping bills to giant cloud vendors, we are now developing DB-as-a-Service called "FlaashDB". Most optimal DB solution works best with a proper hardware instrumentation, so we suggest our private cloud customers use our engineered storage platform "Cinabro".
FPGA ACCELERATION SOLUTIONS
Modern FPGAs, which have well optimized built-in hard macros, common memory interfaces, high speed IO pins, and SerDes blocks as well as internal memory blocks and programmable logic gates, are providing us with different level of capabilities for diverse applications. We are offering design services for clients who want to harness the power of FPGAs for specific needs. For instance, A.I. based memory characterization, in-storage query processing, video tagging at the storage node, and SmartNICs are just a few examples among much broader possibilities.
DEVELOPMENT KITS FOR STORAGE RESEARCH
We have been helping many storage systems researchers in academia, industry, and government by providing them reliable research platforms and technical services. Storage has been developed in strictly separated silos for more than a half century, and such model is no longer sustainable enough to support an exponentially growing data economy. We are strong believers of the value of open innovation and that's why we started Jasmine Open SSD project a decade ago at Indilinx and now enthusiastically support Open-Channel SSD and SPDK communities.
